Who this is for
Not for individual creators. We work from a fully-filled M&E, a separate dialogue stem and a master subtitle file, and we return broadcast and streaming deliverables.
Rights and clearance
Dubbing and subtitling create derivative works. The right to authorise the translation, adaptation and reproduction of a film or programme belongs to the copyright owner, and it is routinely divided by territory, by language and by media. Holding a distribution licence in one market does not carry the right to produce a dubbed or subtitled version, and possession of the assets is not evidence of the right to alter them.
Before an account is enabled we require documentary evidence of the right to have the work adapted: chain of title, or an express written licence or authorisation covering the dubbing, subtitling and distribution of the specific title in the specific languages and territories ordered. We may ask for the same evidence again on any individual title, and we verify it per title where the rights position is split or unclear.
We do not present ourselves as a neutral conduit for material supplied by others, and we do not rely on a takedown process to correct the position afterwards. Where the right to adapt a work cannot be evidenced, we decline the work. Where evidence later proves inaccurate or is withdrawn, we suspend the account and stop delivery.
You warrant that you own or are licensed for every element you supply, that your licence extends to the languages and territories you order, and that any consent required in respect of the integrity of the work or the contributions of performers and authors has been obtained. You indemnify us against claims arising from a breach of those warranties. We respect the copyright of rights holders in every market in which a title is exploited, and this service is not available for the creation of language versions by anyone who does not hold the rights to make them.
These are the conditions of access and a summary of the position, not legal advice. The operative terms are in the Terms of Service.
